Alex@Primeape I've just seen that the sector is being rebuilt on Monday, but maybe you'll be back in the gym tonight or tomorrow. Considering that these are quite small crimps, they are surprisingly easy to grip. I've included a video snippet of how I do it. And actually, the following crimps can be held with very little force.

Alex@tonimaloni Not the smoothest presentation, but I hope it helps nonetheless.
    • tonimalonithanks a lot!
    • Jabeif you take the little crimp over the second volume with the right hand, stand up and take the leftmost crimp before you press against the big hold on the right, it is much easier. took me a while to sort that out, but was just afraid about left hand injury the way you did it.
    • Alex@Jabe You‘re right. Placing the left foot high up on the little hold on the second volume hasn‘t been my intuitive choice, as it seemed a bit uncomfortable at first, but doing so relieves the right hand a lot and then you can swap hands on the crimp easily. 👍

Alex@imzwischen Here it comes, the awkward Beta for small people not having the agility to do splits. It‘s not really easy and I‘d definitely recommend the intended Beta. But for me, it was the only way to do it. I rather climbed in sloth mode 🦥, so hopefully you people watching this don’t fall asleep. 😴 When placing the hook, it is important to have your heel quite far on the right side of the foot hold (closer to your body) , so that the foot can roll, when getting up. Otherwise you will probably hit the blue hold from the other boulder.
